PAWA advertising member Joan Eckman is a representational artist who paints with Acrylic on illustration board and canvas panels in various sizes.
She goes out plein air painting with her Guerrilla Painter 8x10 pochade box with tripod and a backpack for other items. She likes to keep it light as possible due to walking difficulties.
Her prefered subjects are rivers, lakes, trees, and animals. "Actually any subject that makes me want to go out and explore it further." she explains.
Currently in a juried show that runs through May for the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy entitled, “Pollinators: A Hero’s Life”
