We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us and to add your full name, email address and city of residence to our Member Directory. This list is shared only with the members of this organization who are current registered members. It is not viewable by the public. You may opt out of the Member Directory by contacting the following: membership@pleinairwashingtonartists.com
If you make a purchase from our website, your email may be used by PAWA to send future information regarding events and exhibitions. You will have the opportunity to opt out of these mailings.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
A Member Profile page is provided for you to update your contact information at any time as long as you have an account. If you have not registered, you can send an email to any of the above addresses to update your information.
In order to view our Member Directory, a user must first complete the registration form and create a username/password or (password only, if username is provided). During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you and to provide communication with other Plein Air Washington Artists members who have registered on the site.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. When you sign up for or renew membership, billing information is collected by PayPal which is a secure environment. (We do not store billing information on our website.) Every page of pleinairwashingtonartists.com is secured with an SSL (Secured Socket Layer). You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only board members who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, accessing our member list) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.
