PAWA Paints the Arboretum

Okay, I know! There have been a plethora of paintouts in May! ...and more coming! I can't possibly get to them all but thanks to members who are sending me pictures I will still be able to blog about many of them...Thanks to all of you who have been sending me encouraging emails about the blog!  =]

Heads up! Because time is short, I can tell you about a Pop-Up Paintout I am facilitating in Hansville at the Point no Point Lighthouse on Weds. the 26th. We will get started at 9am. Hope to see you there ! BTW, go to the Plein Air Washington Artists page on Facebook to get more info about Pop-Up paintouts that are happening soon. These quicky paintouts are usually hosted by local artists at their favorite local painting spot.

One group paint party that happened recently was at the Seattle Arboretum. This one is usually well attended because of the stunning Azaleas that bloom in May. This year was no different! The flowers were beautiful and lots of members showed up to paint them!

As artists found their happy places strung out along the Azalea Walk we all enjoyed the sunny weather and great fellowship.

It's such an ideal location because the viewing public has plenty of room along the path to see and talk with the artists as we work.

As the weather gets better and the covid infections decline we will all be looking forward to the summer activities, mask free and able to fully enjoy our activities.

See you out there! =]

P.S. Be sure to check PAWA facebook pages for all the paintings that are being created!  So many I can't post them all here!

P.S.S.  Every time I get the chance, I like to take a picture of member, Brook Borcharding's palette.  It's a work of art by itself!
