We are very sorry that due to unforeseen circumstances, Michele Usibelli has had to cancel her workshop, with no future workshop planned at this time.
Fortunately for us, Michele recommended Paul Kratter and he agreed to come up in her stead! Paul will be our juror of awards for the Little Gems Show at the opening reception August 5, then will conduct a three-day workshop with PAWA in the Anacortes / North Whidbey area.
Paul Kratter's roots are very much the same as Ned Mueller, having trained at the infamous Art Center in Pasadena, CA and held a lengthy career as an high-end illustrator. When Paul decided to turn towards fine art, his strong drawing and design skills and robust belief in graphic shapes and storytelling gave him tremendous tools to become the plein air artist he is today. Paul teaches many workshops, wins numerous awards in nationally-known events, is featured in fine art magazines, creates instructional videos and the best part ...? He will bring his great sense of humor and get you relaxed and confident to be your best self in painting plein air! He is said to be a "designer of shapes".
