Directions | From Ellensburg, follow I-90 E. In 28 miles, take exit 137 to merge onto WA-26 E towards Othello/Pullman. In just under 1 mile, turn right onto WA-243 S, and continue for 7.2 miles. Turn left onto Rd 17 SW. In about 1 mile you will see the parking lot on the right. |

There's a good mix of desert scrub and wetland for foregrounds and lead-ins. Clean bathrooms. Follow Rd 17 further east for the Beverly Dunes, which have a slightly different perspective of the hills but no facilities. Or continue further into the Columbia National Wildlife Area to see more riparian areas along Crab Creek. Food and fuel are available in Vantage to the north on I-90, or Mattawa to the south on 243. |
